On June 17, the V Republican competition of livestock breeders of dairy and beef cattle breeding and the 44th republican competition of operators for artificial insemination of cattle took place on the basis of JSC GPP "Elite". The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Head of the Vysokogorsky district Ravil Khisamutdinov, Deputy Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Nugumanov, General Director of JSC GPP "Elite" Fannur Zaripov and other responsible persons.
The best specialists – winners of regional competitions showed their skills in the competitions. They demonstrated their knowledge of herd reproduction, livestock maintenance and feeding, preparation of cows and heifers for calving, as well as practical skills of artificial insemination of cattle.
The contests were held in several stages. The commission tested the participants' work skills in laboratory conditions, evaluated the practice and production performance of the contestants, in addition, the participants demonstrated knowledge of the theoretical basis of the profession.
The winners of the competition will be announced at the International Agro-industrial Exhibition "Agrovolga-2022", which will be held from July 6 to 8 in Kazan at the Kazan Expo IEC.
